Toilet stops will be taken as necessary
After a timely arrival at Southampton it's time to get off the coach and head upstairs to the open deck or the passenger lounge for a good look around. For many students, this will be their first time at sea
It's a 55 minute crossing to East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, across waters which are generally quite sheltered

Home of the Isle of Wight Zoo
Long known as Isle of Wight (or Sandown) Zoo, The Wildheart Trust is a wildlife centre built within the ruins of a Victorian fort, on Sandown seafront.
Gorgeous Soft Sandy Beach
Sandown Beach is one of the Isle of Wight's finest and most recognised beaches, with miles of soft golden sands crowned by Sandown's pleasure pier and topped off with spectacular chalk cliffs. Popular with tourists and surfers, Sandown is a traditional 'bucket and spade' holiday beach with all that you expect from an English family beach.
Invigorating Downland Walk
A 4-mile walk taking around 2 hours (with a quick picnic stop) from Freshwater Bay to the Needles, this is a well used part of the Isle of Wight Coastal Path offering wonderful views of the iconic Needles Rocks, and across to Old Harry Rocks in Dorset on a clear day. You'll pass a 19th century fort, a cold war rocket testing site, and a monument to the Victorian poet laureate Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
Splashing Good Fun!
The Isle of Wight's bounciest and wettest attraction with over 20 massive obstacles to tackle, plenty of free-fall slides and fun but challenging elements to explore.
Ten Pin Bowling & Laser Tag
A popular evening activity with many of our groups, this indoor facility offers ten pin bowling and laser tag all under one roof!
Quintessential Romantic Castle
Sitting high and proud at the heart of the Isle of Wight, Carisbrooke Castle has been an artillery fortress, king's prison and royal summer residence.
After a short drive to East Cowes it's time to get back on the ferry for the journey home to the "north island" as we call it...
It's a 55 minute crossing to Southampton on the mainland, and an ideal opportunity for everyone to eat a packed lunch before the onward journey
Back on the coach and now it's just a simple case of zipping up the motorway and back to school
The homeward journey should be a lot quieter than the drive down - hopefully everyone will be exhausted from having a great time here on the Isle of Wight and full of precious memories
Again, toilet stops will be taken as necessary
