We will pre-book your visit for you and your entry charges will be paid directly by Education Destination. All you need to do is show up at the agreed time, line the kids up outside, identify yourselves to staff and you'll be enjoying the facilities in no time!
There are a small number of picnic tables dotted around the site.
Most groups allocate a half day for trips to Tapnell and combine it with other attractions in the area, such as Dinosaur Expeditions or The Needles Pleasure Cruise. However, Tapnell is continually expanding and we are now seeing groups opt to spend a whole day here.
There's a large toilet block in the main building which is no more than a few minutes' walk from anywhere in the park
Most of the park is on one level with wide hard footpaths. There's always plenty of staff on hand to help if needed.
There is a large cafe/restaurant on site selling meals and snacks. At popular times there is often an ice cream kiosk too.
On arrival you will be offered a time slot for a private wallaby talk. Depending on how busy the site is expected to be, you may also be given time slots for other popular activities but the park prefers a free-flow approach wherever possible.
If you have booked the optional ARCHERY activity at Tapnell Farm, participants must be aged 11+ and wear closed-toed shoes and long sleeves.

Whilst most of the fun attractions are outside, there's plenty to see and do indoors as well, so Tapnell is a perfect rainy day option.
The park has many picnic tables available for use. There's also a cafe and a snack bar selling ice-cream within the park if you'd like to plan a treat or a hot lunch for example. We can help with that.
Handwash sinks are available throughout the site where you may come into contact with animals.
Toilets are situated directly opposite the main entrance to the rear of the main barn.
