Haddon's Pits Nature Reserve

Perfect spot for observing migratory birds

Haddon's Pits is a former sand quarry, now a well-known birding spot managed by National Trust.

Set in undulating scrubland adjacent to the cliff path, Haddon's is a great place to see birds like whitethroat, long-tailed tit, peregrine falcon and raven. Depending on the time of year you can also observe large numbers of migrating swallows and house martins.
