Using cards, students match the image of a park area or ride with corresponding historical information, then re-order them into correct chronological order!

Contextual Summary


This is a pre- or post-visit history resource that engages students with their visit to Blackgang Chine Theme Park. The resource task challenges them to identify the historical periods and key facts featured as part of the park’s various attractions, and to place these in chronological order. Students are asked to match the cards then focus on placing the information in its correct historical / chronological order. This is a short task that students can complete before they go to familiarise themselves with the park’s attractions and their historical links, or they could complete the task back in the classroom.
